'The Marooned Pirate' is inspired by one of Pirate laws most severe punishments, that tested true grit and determination - Marooning. Left with nothing but your wits and courage, and all the odds staked against you, surviving being mercilessly marooned by your Captain or crew on a deserted sand bar was the stuff that made you go down in Pirate folklore.
